shadowrun returns download,10000000 and several others

premium-game-sale
In honor of spring, Google is now holding a limited time app sale, offering 19 reasonably high-profile games for as little as $.99. Here’s the full list of games available in the sale:
As you can see, there’s some really popular titles here, including several newer games like the Room 2. No word on exactly how long this sale will last, so we’d probably take advantage of the promotion right away.
It’s also important to note that the offer’s sale page doesn’t seem to be up for all regions just yet, though it is confirmed to be working at least in the United States and select parts of Europe. According to commenters on Reddit, if the page doesn’t come up for you, it doesn’t hurt to try visiting the apps directly instead of heading to the sale page.

htc one m8 outdoors aa (8 of 14)

The HTC One M8 has been available since it launched on March 25th through Verizon both in-store and online, and online-only for Sprint and AT&T. Starting today, however, AT&T and Sprint are now offering the handset through their brick-and-mortar locations as well.

Sprint and AT&T both offer the M8 for $199.99 with two-year contract, though there are also other options like AT&T Next for those that don’t want to commit to a traditional contract. As for T-Mobile? Unfortunately, it seems that the uncarrier won’t start selling the device until tomorrow, but at least its not much longer of a wait.

Te HTC One M8 is a major update from its predecessor, bringing a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 CPU and 2GB of RAM. Other specs include a 5-inch LCD3 display with a 1080p resolution, a Duo camera configuration, front-facing boomsound speakers, a 2600 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6.0.

Not sure if the HTC One (M8) is the right handset for you? Be sure to check out our full review, as well as our hands-on coverage below:

So how about it, anyone planning on picking this one up? For those that already made the plunge, what do you think of the HTC One (M8) so far?

HTC One M7 and HTC One M8 both on sale through Best Buy, $1 and $150 respectively

htc-one-m8-vs-htc-one-m7-quick-look-aa-9-of-19

While most of the attention is on the HTC One M8, the last-gen version of the HTC One is still a very attractive handset and is more than capable of providing a solid Android experience for those that don’t need bleeding-edge specs. With that in mind, Best Buy is now offering the original HTC One (M7) for just $1 with two-year contract via AT&T, Sprint or Verizon from now until tomorrow.

For those that need the refresher, the HTC One (M7) is powered by a 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 CPU with 2GB RAM. Other specs include a 4.7-inch display with 1080p resolution, 32GB storage, a 4 UltraPixel camera, and a 2300 mAh battery.

To see how the HTC One compares to its next-gen brother, you’ll want to check out our versus comparison:

If you have your heart set on the HTC One (M8) but aren’t interested in paying the $199.99 contract price to get it, Best Buy is also offering the next-gen HTC One for $150. Right now Best Buy’s website only lists the Verizon and Sprint version, but AT&T is also expected to get in on the deal.

Anyone planning on taking advantage of the marked down price on the original HTC One, or are you more interested in the HTC One M8?

Find and Install WordPress Plugins through Github

WordPress plugins are “officially” distributed through the WordPress-owned plugin repository. You can search for any kind of plugin to add extra functionalities to your website or blog. But, there are also a number of great plugins that we can find outside that are not hosted in the official repo.

Some plugins can only be found in its developer website, while some can only be found in Github.

Github is like a gold mine for developers. There are a bunch cool projects including WordPress plugins that are hosted in it. But sadly Github does not return quite an accurate result when we search for WordPress plugins. Using keywords like “WordPress Plugins” does not help much either. But here is what you can do with a plugin.

Github Plugin Search

Github Plugin Search is a plugin created by Paul Clark. This plugin, as the name implies, allows you to search and install WordPress plugins from Github. To do the job, this plugin utilizes Github API Search, Plugin File Header and WordPress Installer API.

Once installed, you can search and add new Plugins from Plugins > Add New menu as usual. But as this plugin is still undergoing development, it replaces the Plugins search result entirely with a list of plugins found in Github.

In this example below, I searched for “bootstrap”. And it returns several results.

Word Of Caution

This plugin could be a good alternative source to find WordPress plugins. But there is one important thing to note when you are using it:

Github is not designed specifically to distribute WordPress plugins. Unlike WordPress.org repo, which moderates all the submitted plugins, Github allows anyone to upload and host their project in it without strict screening. This could be taken advantage of by people who upload plugins with malicious codes, which for intance could allow backdoor access to your blog without your permission.

So, while this Github is a great alternate source to find WordPress plugins, you have to be cautious with your choices. Make sure that you know what the plugin and the codes in it do before getting the plugin.

Final Thought

I’m looking forward to the enhancements of this plugin. In the future, the developer, plans to add the capability to let you opt between WordPress.org repo and Github.
