As for her outfit, Kate’s black Temperley London dress is from the label’s Fall 2012 collection and featured laser-cut detailing inspired by Renaissance stained glass. The nipped-in waist and full skirt gave it a very feminine feel—and it’s no surprise that various descriptions of the dress have included a nod to Audrey Hepburn. Simple blackJimmy Choo pumps kept emphasis on the dress, though Kate added a punch of colour with a bright-red bow clutch by Alexander McQueen. She was also wearing her very sparkly Art Deco-inspired diamond bracelet and earrings, which are said to be a wedding gift from Prince Charles.
But! Most importantly it looks like Kate has changed her hair, be it ever so slightly. The honey-brown highlights from summer are gone, as is some of the length. And when your hair is freshly cut and super glossy in that perfect princess sort of way, no updo is necessary.
